Originally built for the Estate Land Agent in 1920, Hillend House has recently been renovated and now boasts luxury, classic country accommodation for 18 guests with 9 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and exceptional living space, both indoors and outdoors. The house offers a great escape from the hustle and bustle of life with comfort, modern technology, space, tranquillity, open fires and access to the great outdoors and wider offerings of a culturally rich area.
Hillend House is available for exclusive-use hire for holidays, parties, family gatherings and corporate events. Guests are encouraged to treat the house as their own for the duration of their stay and can call on the expertise and support of the friendly team at Eastnor Castle should they need advice or a helping hand. Children and dogs are very welcome at Hillend House.
The accommodation at Hillend House is over 2 floors with 4 reception rooms, a fully appointed kitchen/diner and an ensuite bedroom on the ground floor. On the first floor there are 5 spacious ensuite double bedrooms and a further 3 bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. 6 of the bedrooms offer a zip-n-link bed option enabling the flexibility of choosing either a twin or double bed to suit your needs.
At the rear of the house there are uninterrupted views of the countryside and a flat lawn, ideal for a marquee or outdoor entertaining. A large gravelled terrace overlooks the lawn, perfect for outdoor dining. Guests can also enjoy a hot-tub experience or a game of tennis whilst younger guests can make their own entertainment in the games room which has a flat screen tv and a pool table. There is ample parking at the front of the house.
Herefordshire is a county of unspoilt and peaceful countryside, with a rich array of places and events to explore and enjoy. In the wider 3 counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire there are many diverse events to experience including the Royal Three Counties, the RHS Spring Garden Show, the Cheltenham Festival and the Internationally renowned Hay Festival.
The nearby historic market town of Ledbury is 3 miles away and offers a variety of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and a petrol station. Ledbury Train Station is on the London Paddington main line and motorway access is via the M50, just 15 minutes away. Helicopters may also land on the estate with prior notice.
